Dance Bio-

Age 69. As a Pre-Med student at USC  I started dancing under 7 time US National Latin Champion Ron Montez. Won the US Amateur Latin Championship at age 14. Dance in 2 World Amateur Championships (Quarter Finalist in Stuttgart Worlds). Over the next 10 years won championships in Florida, Texas, Florida before winning the US Professional Rising Star title. and US Pro-Am Champion. A few years later coming out of retirement, won the Cabaret division at the World Swing Championships and  was a finalist at the World Salsa Championships. Have competed at Madison Square Garden, Royal Albert Hall, Hammersmith Palais, Blackpool Winter Gardens, 

Grew up in South Pasadena, California, currently living near Boca Raton, Florida

3 time Feather Award Winner as  Most Popular Teacher in the US (1x) and Hottest Mambo Dancer (2x)

Ballroom coach for 8 Olympic Ice Dance and Pairs couples, Special Assistant Choreographer on the movie dance With Me, Choreographer on Independant film God & Salsa; Choreographer for MTV #1 hit Broken Wings by Mr. Mister; “Hero” of AARP/United Healthcare commercial. Writer for several national dance magazines; Award winning restaurant and Nightclub owner for 10 years; Dance Cruise Organizer, Ship Entertainer on various cruise lines. Have lectured and performed in: Austria, Belgium, Canada, England, Germany, Greece, Holland, Italy, Latvia, Mexico, Scotland, Slovakia, Sweden, Turkey, and most of the United States.

Injuries

Broken foot  twice, Fractured shoulder, 2 Partial Knee replacements, Successful treatment of Prostate cancer

Eating style

Atkins, Keto has worked for me my entire dance career. (My sweet tooth when I’m not on Atkins is my undoing)
